Baobab Powder | Recipe

What is Baobab Powder?

Baobab powder is the true definition of a ‘superfood’. It has six times the amount of vitamin C found in oranges, twice the calcium of milk and five times the amount of potassium than a banana. It also has twice the level of antioxidants than goji berries and blueberries combined!

I was able to add the powder to smoothies to increase the nutrient density I was receiving without experiencing any significant change in taste. 

However, my favorite recipe is the Baobab Peanut Butter Energy Bites.

  • 2 tsp PandaVita organic baobab powder
  • 200g oats
  • 150g dairy-free dark chocolate, roughly chopped (or melted)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (or sub flax or hemp seeds)
  • 1 tbsp of all natural salted peanut butter
  • 200g dates, pitted (if dry, soak in warm water for 10 minutes)
