IMAGINE Healthier Snack Choices…

One thing we can all agree on is that our bodies and those of our little ones need to be well fed everyday- constantly, it seems.

One of my favorite tips to saving time throughout the day is meal planning as it erases all the time you spend thinking about what to make for breakfast/lunch/dinner especially when the most popular thing your household can come up with is “i don’t know”.

However, between meals children need snacks to re-energize their growing bodies and their active brains. I also like to ensure that I have enough fruit and other pre-packaged snacks that they can often help themselves to. With the advent of new research and the constant banter of organic vs inorganic, whole grains, good fat, etc, I have turned myself into that parent who reads the back of food items and assesses their nutritional value– I have come to realize that “healthy” pre packaged snacks that are kid friendly and taste good are hard to find!

I thought I would share with you a brand you might not be familiar with but one that has found itself among our regular snack purchases, IMAGINE snacks. They describe their products as, “Lip-smackingly delicious, organic snacks made from real foods you love. Especially for kids. Good sources of nutrition. Free from artificial preservatives, colors or flavors. Theyre easy, wholesome, yummy snacks that your kids will be excited to eat—and that you can feel great about!”

I especially like that their snacks come in resealable bags to help them stay fresh and it also makes it that much easier to use in the car, on the go, between activities which is when we use them the most!
