Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See?
I believe literacy starts from the time a baby is born and as a result, I like to stock the little minds of my kids with stories from the time of their birth. When they become mobile and can grab the books, we get into little problems, because of ripped pages, baby eating paper, etc. For those and other reasons, I love the cardboard books which help them to feel like ownership of the books since they are able to hold and grasp and play with the books without damaging them.
This book in particular is one of our favorites because it is done in question and answer format which makes it interactive. It is also vibrantly and beautifully illustrated and captures the attention of babies and toddlers.
There is also a game that correlates with this story and illustrations. It is just as fun and the kids thoroughly enjoy it as well.
We love this book too! Also, check out the Brown Bear Rap by Miss Nina. It’s really fun, and easy to find on YouTube.
